Here is another costume idea you might want to try.  One of the more recent trends that I have noticed is that many girls are into fairies. This came to my attention when my daughter asked for fairy costumes for play. Fairy costumes have always been around, but there are more when a movie or televisions show starts to feature them.

There is a new Barbie movie about fairies, and that might explain why there are many buying fairy costumes right now. Some children don’t care which costume of fairies they get, as long as they have one.

What is great about fairy costumes, at least in my daughter’s eyes, is that you don’t have to have a reason to wear them. We have gone to the grocery store with her dressed in many different things, and I won’t be surprised if we go soon with her wearing her fairy costume.

You don’t have to buy complete fairy costumes. You have to have fairy wings, and some type of frilly or flowing dress, and the rest is up to you. Your child may even have some very specific things they are looking for when asking for fairy costumes, so have them search for the parts with you.
